Fame at last!

So - since we left the UK we have been part of Disneyland Hong Kongs website, filmed a TV commercial for a local photographic studio and now we are to be found on the Hanmer Springs website too.

Carole and Annissa found it when planning a visit to the springs - we didn't know!

Will fill you in on the TV ad once we have a copy of it!!! But for those of you with CTV (Canterbury TV) we are on the Beverley Studios ads.

Player of the day !

Joe played his second Rugby match today and was named 'player of the day'! Obviously he is thrilled and proud (as are his family of course). The team played well today against Belfast and won by a landslide. Joe was in on every tackle and scored a try after a long sprint down the field. He ended the match covered in mud and very happy!

No pictures today as Ben was throwing a bit of a wobbly. He wanted to play and was a bit bolshy about being kept on the sidelines. Luckily the rugby posts improvised as an effective 'naughty step'.

Go Parklands Black!

Easter

Term 1 finished on Thursday and the Easter fun began Friday with a trip to Ferrymead Historical Park for rides on the trams and trains, a lolly scramble and Easter competitions. The morning was so beautiful that we detoured to the gondola to get some views of the city and the first snow on the Southern Alps. At the park the boys met real rabbits and had a go at stilts and hoops as well as riding the vintage trams and train.
Easter Sunday was a busy affair with Nana, cousins and family around for a barbecue lunch and birthday cake. Luckily the sun shone and the children spent most of the day outside on the trampoline and even managed to rope Matt into giving them a ride on Olive's new transport.
On Monday we took in some more trains at the Weka Pass Railway and all steam fans should enjoy the clip!

NO MORE TRAINS THIS HOLIDAY!
Also thought you might like to see evidence of our first lot of treatments for head lice - the joys!
